Hi there! I’m Angie, the gal behind the lens at IlluminEssence Photography. I’m a lover of shoes, Apple devices, and my camera gear. I would probably describe myself as a creative nerd. I’ve spent the majority of my adult career working in the technology field, geeking out over things like hardware, software, coding, and project plans. However, I also really enjoy using the right side of my brain creating. Creating what exactly? Anything that requires outside-of-the-box thinking coupled with innovation. AKA really cool stuff from scratch.

This is what I love about photography. I love being able to combine different techniques with creative compositions and angles to get the image that will not only bring you back to that moment in time, but to the feel of the day, the light on your face, and the emotion behind your expression.
